Linear motor axes

LMSSA linear motor axes are an inexpensive variant of this product group. The cost advantage is achieved through consistent reduction to the essentials and limitation of the options and variants available as standard. This significantly reduces manufacturing costs, while at the same time, the LMSSA axes offer all advantages of a conventional linear motor axis.

The HIWIN linear motor axes from the LMX series fulfil the highest precision requirements. The guiding system and linear motor are integrated in a solid, trued, continuous-cast precision profile, and so fulfil the highest straightness and evenness requirements for linear motor axes. Thanks to the high resolution positioning measuring system, the standard reproducibility is ±0.001 mm.

HIWIN linear tables HT-L are based on a heavy duty and low wear double guiding, in combination with a light-weight and at the same time robust aluminium profile. Thanks to a freely adjustable stroke in millimetre increments as well as a variaty of options, the linear tables can be perfectly adapted to the respective application requirements.

The new generation of small- to medium-load LMV linear motor axes was developed specifically for “more compact, lighter, and highly dynamic” solutions. The considerably reduced moving masses and the new linear motors from the LMSA series gave rise to a highly dynamic positioning axis that can bring its advantages to bear for both horizontal and vertical applications. Unlike other linear motor axes, the HIWIN linear motor axis LMV is characterised by maximised mechanical stability in a compact, weight-optimised design.
